Announcements:  September 22, 2017

  1. Sports Picture are in- Please stop in before school, at lunch, or after school to pick get them.
  2. Student Government members- meet in Mrs. Hubble’s room today at lunch to make posters.
  3. All 7th & 8th grade girls who are interested in playing basketball- there is a meeting today at lunch in the library.
  4. Cheerleaders are selling Flower Grams at both lunches until Sept. 29th- They are only $1 and will be delivered the Friday of Homecoming Week. 
  5. Juniors: Freeman Nursery has agreed to get more mums to fill any outstanding orders. You must see Mrs. Fischer today before fourth hour if you have orders to fill.  Otherwise your customers will not get their mums. 
  6. ROBOTICS is starting! Want to be a part of the future and prepare yourself for pretty cool jobs? Be a part of the Robotics Team. The team will meet Monday, September 25, 2017 in room 160 after school. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Quick.
  7. CMU will be here Thursday Sept. 28th at 1 pm. Any interested students should sign up with Mrs. Phillips.
  8. Dance Guest Forms are available in the office for the Homecoming Dance. Take care of them early- they are due a week before the dance. 
  9. The HS Band and Color Guard travel to CMU on Saturday for band day. Itinerary was posted on both websites.  Hard copies are available in the classroom for those without internet access at home. 
  10. Music Booster Meeting- Monday, September 25 @ 5:30 pm in the band room.
  11. Picture Day is Sept 26th. You can pick up forms in the office.
  12. Alma College will be here Monday, September 25th at 2:00. Any interested students should sign up with Mrs. Phillips.
  13. The Music Department is selling Little Caesar Pizza Kits until October 12th. See a band or choir member to place your order.
  14. If you’ve ever wondered if there was someone at school to help with homework – the answer is yes. During lunch EVERY DAY in room 201 there will be someone available to give assistance.

Events for tonight:   Varsity Football takes on Roscommon away tonight.   Our teams have a busy weekend - Cross Country runs at the Wildcat Invitational tomorrow in Evart, Varsity Volleyball will attend the St. Louis Sunset Invitational, and JV Volleyball will play host to the Beaverton JV Volleyball Invitational. 

Events results:  7th grade Volleyball won 2 and lost 1 last night.  8th grade played hard but lost to Harrison last night.  JV Football beat Roscommon 26-8 last night.
