Because we remain committed to taking every necessary precaution to ensure the safety of our student-athletes and spectators, this week's JV Football game against the Pioneers will be played in Clare Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. The varsity football game will be played as scheduled Friday at 7 p.m. at Clare.
Nobody is more anxious and excited to see our teams competing on our home stomping grounds at C.W. Metzger Field than us, so please understand we share your frustration. We appreciate your continued patience, Beaver Nation, and we hope to have some good news to share later this week. Thank you, and #GoBeavers.

YOUR ROOM IS READY: One of the exciting new features of the Beaverton Schools app is Rooms, which offers parents and guardians the opportunity to chat directly with teachers, along with class streams, class announcements and other communications.
Within the past couple of days, you should have received an email asking you to create an account so that you can access Rooms on the app or on the web. The email sender is 'EduRooms' and if you didn't receive it, check your spam folder. If you can't find the email anywhere, please call the school office to get assistance at 989.246.3020 (BES) or 989.246.3010 (BJSHS).
We also have a short video with instructions for using Rooms at https://bit.ly/3B8ZqsM.
And if you haven't yet started using the Beaverton Schools app, now's a great time. You can download it by searching for 'Beaverton Beavers' at Google's Play Store or the Apple App Store.

Monday was the first day of school for everybody in Beaverton. But for English teacher Allison Grice, it was even bigger than that: It was the first day of her career. The story: https://bit.ly/3pKMWAR

Good morning Beaverton Families. As clarification - our students at Beaverton Elementary will continue receiving free breakfast and lunch on a daily basis. The media communication regarding the ending of free school lunches was referring to the federal program that was initiated by Congress as a pandemic response. This will not have any effect on the meals being provided to our students.
Students will have menus coming soon to them. However, with the daily food shortage supply chains the menu may have less variety and changes to the menu.

LET'S GO! The first day of school arrives tomorrow, and we're excited to launch an amazing year. Don't forget the first day is a half-day. Students at BES will release at 11:35 a.m., followed by BJSHS at 11:45 a.m.
