HOCO DAY STARTS EARLY IN BEAVERTON!
One of our favorite Homecoming traditions was back first thing this morning!
Our Beaverton football players helped kick off HOCO Day by heading over to the elementary school to greet our younger Beavers as they arrived — and then made their way into classrooms to keep the excitement going!
High fives, big smiles, and plenty of BEAVER PRIDE to start the day!
There’s just something special about our big Beavers showing up for our little Beavers.

Reminder that the Homecoming Parade Route has not changed since M-18 has reopened. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Parade and game! Go Beavers!!
Registration is open to 4th-6th grade kids interested in playing basketball. Parents are responsible for transportation with games held on Saturdays starting in January for approximately 6 weeks. Practices tentative to start at the end of November/beginning of December. Registration ends 10/11/26 and cash payment to coaches due the first week of practices. Beaverton will be celebrating its homecoming with a parade at 5:00 PM with a PTO tailgate to follow in the Beaverton Athletic Complex Parking Lot. This year's theme for spirit week, the parade and dance is "Destinations Around the World". Beaverton's King and Queen will be announced at the student assembly and at halftime of the football game. Beaverton faces off against the Pinconning Spartans at 7:00 PM Friday, October 2nd

On Monday afternoon, an e-mail circulated that described a “Cat in the Hat” that specified Midland, Gladwin, Beaverton, and Clare Schools. These posts have apparently been circulating since Friday throughout Michigan. The posts do not contain specified threats to students or property, however, out of a abundance of caution, our SRO Chief of Police have been notified and are on heightened aert.

Traffic Pattern Update for School Families
Dear Beaverton Schools Community,
As we quickly approach the start of the new school year, an obstacle we must overcome is the ongoing road construction on M-18 (Ross St.) and Tonkin Street. Due to this construction, our Tonkin Street entrance, which is our main bus entrance, will remain closed for several months. This closure forces us to reroute buses, and adjust pick up and drop off procedures for students. We have created a tentative plan and map in order to educate our stakeholders about these new, temporary procedures. Our plan is to release this information to the public next week, after review of these procedures by county officials on Tuesday.

A special Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 3rd at 5:00pm in the high school media center. The purpose of this meeting will be to adjust our current Strategic Plan to account for changes in personnel. This is a public meeting, and community members are encouraged to attend.
