SPECIAL SALUTE: Beaverton Elementary's Veterans Day assembly is always a heartfelt, moving affair, and today's was no exception. Sincere thanks to our veterans and guests, and congratulations to our students for putting on a sterling show of community pride.
The Anatomy and Physiology students at Beaverton Jr/Sr High School visited the "Real Bodies" on exhibit at the Sloan Museum today! They were amazed at the details shown in these plasticized, real bodies on display. We were able to see parts of the human body in a unique and remarkable way. This was a valuable experience that added to our studies!

The experts shared their best counsel and the students asked A LOT of questions. MOVING ON: The Beaverton Football squad survived and advanced with Friday’s 34-20 win over Hemlock. THE LONG RUN: It’s not over just yet for Beaverton Senior Tessa Wohlshlegel, who picked the perfect moment to destroy her PR at Saturday’s Cross Country Regionals in East Jordan. Tessa put up a new school record of 19:45, wrecking her previous career best by 45 seconds and earning ninth place in the region.
