Beaverton wrestled today at the John Harris Classic Tournament of Champions in Shepherd and had one champion on the day: Landon Terrell at 113 lbs. Garett Muma placed 5th at 132 lbs. The Beavers host the JPC Championship next Saturday at 9:00 a.m. GO RED!

In a battle of undefeated conference rivals, the Beaverton Girls Bowling Team started strong and held their ground for a 22-8 point victory over 2022 state champion Shepherd. High scorers for the Beavers: Becca Claypool with a 207 & 191 and Kaelyn Fisher with 160 & 156.
The Beaverton Boys Bowling Team beat Shepherd by a wide margin of 27 points to 3. Excellent performances by Michael Eschenbacher with a 204 & 194 and Andrew Cooper bowled 172 & 157. GO RED!

Events Results: 7th grade boys’ basketball lost to Meridian 42-31. Aidan Elkholy led the
team with 13 points. Jace Mishler and Tristan Olson each had 6.

The Beaverton wrestling team closed up JPC dual meets tonight with a win over Farwell 72-12 and a loss to Clare 37-36.
Double winners on the night were Landon Terrell, Seth Onweller, and Justin Wood.
Seth Onweller reached his 100th win against his opponent in the Farwell dual. Congratulations to Seth!

A WORTHY CAUSE: An important heads-up for those attending Friday's home basketball triple-header vs. Farwell. Our National Honor Society students are doing their Coaches vs. Cancer fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The Coaches vs. Cancer committee has been talking to area businesses to raise donations; these businesses will be recognized during the basketball games this Friday. Committee members will also be available at the games to solicit donations from fans. The JV boys tip off at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity girls and varsity boys. pts, Reese Longstreth 8 pts, 10 rebounds.

Bowling teams competed against Pinconning today. The girls won 28 1/2 points to 1 1 /2 points. Becca Claypool led the girls with a 187 game.
The boys lost a tough match 11 points to 19 points. Leading the boys was Alex Greer winning 2 points and a high game of 171. GO RED!

Last night the Beaverton wrestlers competed in a JV tournament at Bay City Central. Ian Krezenski was the one undefeated wrestler claiming his first championship. Nate Diamond, Cody Muma and Caden Snyder placed 2nd place. Eric Lasron received a 3rd place finish. AJ Camp and Sam Stube both finished the night with wins. Beavers wrestle in Clare on Wednesday. GO RED!

Boys basketball victorious in Harrison tonight: Varsity 48-25 & JV 51-26. Varsity girls and boys basketball host Valley Lutheran in a double header on Tuesday at 6:00. GO RED!
