A. M CTE Students attend BJSHS classes.     P. M. CTE students can still attend afternoon session, but is optional. Let the office know if you plan on riding the CTE bus tomorrow afternoon. 2.     MID Mentors will be on campus October 12th to discuss Winter dual enrollment classes. 3.     Sr Class Officers meet with Mrs Kintner during WIN today. 4.     Band/Choir/Color guard:  The fall fundraiser is under way.  Orders and a money are due October 22.  5.     For those students that have signed up for the Leo Club and those that have an interest in learning more about this community service Club opportunity, please attend an informational meeting to be held Thursday, October 14 during lunch in the library. Please get your food first, then report to the library.   Mr. Govitz will be on site talking to students about the Club and becoming a member and begin planning for this year’s activities. 6.     Seniors/Class of 2022: Joe Fox from Herff Jones will be here on Thursday, October 14th to discuss graduation.  Meeting will be held during WIN in the library.  Send your ideas for Class motto and song to Mrs. Kintner (via email). 7.     7th & 8th Grade Girls interested in playing basketball this school year should report to the library for a meeting during lunch time Today. The season begins next week on Monday, October 18th and goes until December 11th. 8.     On Saturday, October 16th at 7:30 there is going to be a Fall Bowling Challenge for all fall sports teams to participate in, each fall team needs a bowling team of 5. See Taylor McCormack to sign up, registration is due by Wednesday the 13th and it is $20 per person or $100 per team (sponsors are allowed). Event:   Beaverton Cross Country Invite, meet starts at 4:30 @ Beaverton School Forest Recreation Area VOLLEYBALL GAME VS. GLADWIN ON WEDNESDAY: All students will get into this game for free. It's a "Pink Out" Game in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is an important game for 1st place so we are hoping for a huge crowd. Volleyball beat Millington in 3-1 on Parent Night. Rival game vs. Gladwin on Wednesday as the Beavers battle to remain in sole possession of 1st place in the JPC. We are hoping for a large home crowd to join our students in a “Pink Out” Game in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Students get into Wednesday’s game for free. GO RED!

FOOTBALL UPDATE FOR THIS WEEK: There will be no varsity football game this week due to Farwell going to 8 man football and the inability to find a new opponent. There will be no JV game this week as well. JV is scheduled to host Gladwin next Thursday and varsity will be traveling to Gladwin next Friday. GO RED!

Wednesday, October 6 th is Student Count day. This is an important day to be in attendance on this day. 4. Clarification on Student Handbook forms, The Technology Form needs to be completed and turned in. Beavers with a big win over Pinconning on Homecoming 56-6 in front of a great crowd. Thanks to Mrs. Hubble and all the Student Government for all their efforts in making it a festive week for everyone! The status for a football game for next Friday will be communicated Monday afternoon. GO RED!

Students in our middle school STEM class have been working on room designs in class. They had the opportunity to check out some real classroom furniture options and provide input on what they liked. Their suggestions will be considered when the school purchases new furniture.

Shout out to the JV Volleyball team for dominating a home JPC Quad Match with Harrison, Farwell and Pinconning. The Beavers went undefeated on the night going a total of 6-0! Way to go!!

Beaverton Football Fans: Please note that NEXT Friday's Varsity Football Game vs. Farwell has been canceled due to Farwell going to 8 man football. We are continuing to search for an opponent for next Friday. This week, the Beavers host Pinconning in a Homecoming Game at 7:00, with parade line up beginning at 4:00 in the front jr/sr high parking lot and parade beginning at 4:30 p.m. GO RED!
