1. Student handbook forms need to be turned into the office asap. Please put them in the
basket on the short desk in your grade level file located in the office.
2. Northwood University will be here on Monday, September 27 during WIN, sign up using QR
codes available with WIN teachers or in your google classroom.
3. Beaverton Music Booster Meeting: Today (9/23) @ 7 pm in the JSHS Band room.
4. GIRLS INTERESTED IN PLAYING HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: We need to determine if we
have enough players for a JV girls basketball team this season. So, all high school girls
planning on playing basketball this season meeting will have a meeting with their coaches
during lunch Today. Get your food first and report to library.
5. ITVS 6 th hour meet in room 153 for the rest of the school year.

Event Results: Beaverton JV Red beat Clare in two sets last night! 25 to 17 both games.
Beaverton Volleyball won against Clare, 3-0.

5. Sophomore class officer meeting on Today at lunch in Mrs. Fischer's room.

7. The results are in for the Junior High Student Government. Positions are being filled with
the following 7th and 8th grade representatives:
President: Layla Stewart
Vice President: Sayde Woodruff
Treasurer: Charity Danielak
Secretary: Austin McCormack
8th grade Representative is Evan Kinney
7th grade Representatives are: Ben Zdrojewski and Ian Roberts.
Any of the other students whose names were on the ballot can still be a part of the
Student Government Council Committee All government representatives need to see Ms.
Coughlin for a student Code of Conduct form to sign and return before the end of the
week.

Beavers beat Meridian 31-22 on a Patriotic evening. Beaverton Schools will be donating 2,280 to Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Thanks to all for the donations, to the veterans and active military in attendance and to the Great Lakes Veterans Coalition for the Garrison Flag for the National Anthem.





We're hoping to see a lot of Active Military and Veterans at tonight's football game vs. Meridian at 7:00 as you will all receive free admission and be recognized at half time.
We also have a special surprise for the National Anthem.
All gate proceeds will be donated to the Tunnel To Towers Foundations and extra donations may be given at the ticket gate.

2. If you are a Jr. High student that is interested in taking charge and making decisions for
your class then Student Government is your place to be. Please see Ms. Coughlin for a
form to fill out. This needs to be signed by three of your teachers and brought back to her
by Friday this week. Voting will be held next week.
3. There will be a bleacher creature meeting at lunch in Mr. Coleman’s room, everyone is
encouraged to come and share their ideas
4. FOOTBALL GAME THIS FRIDAY: In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, this Friday's
football gate proceeds will be donated to the Tunnel2Towers Foundation. The student
section theme has been changed to USA. Students are asked to invite any veteran they
know to attend the game free of charge to be recognized at halftime of this Friday's game.

Event Results: Volleyball won against Gladwin 3-2, Might be one of the best matches in our history
with Gladwin. I'm really proud of our girls for battling for over 100 points. Cedar

1. The Gladwin County Youth Action Council (GladYAC) is a group of energetic youth from all
over Gladwin County that spend a few hours each month learning about philanthropy.
Students learn to serve their community and meet its challenges by supporting non-profit
youth programs and projects through their grant-making. They learn to serve, and through
serving, they learn to lead. If you would like to learn more about GladYak and how you can
be involved, please go to the library on Today, September 14th during your lunch hour.
2. Homecoming court forms are available to be pick up from Mrs. Hubble and need to be
turned into Mrs.Hubble by Wednesday.

the Quarter finals they beat Dow, and in the final they won 1 and lost 2 to Cass City.

The State of Michigan is asking that every school district to again offer the PSAT to any current 9th to 11th grade student and the SAT to any current 12th grade student. These tests are optional. If you are interested in taking either test, the deadline to turn in your parent signed form or complete the google survey is tomorrow, Monday September 13th. The google survey link is here:
