The Beaverton varsity baseball team advances to the district championship game. They defeated the Meridian Mustangs 10 to 0 in 5 innings. Championship game is in Meridian at 2pm today.
Congratulations to the softball team for winning the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP by beating Farwell 5-1. The Lady Beavers advance to regional play in Manton next Saturday.

5. EXCITING DEVICE NEWS: Next school year, all students will receive a Chromebook with a case that will be yours the entire school year to have during the school day and to take home after school! Students will be responsible for having their charged Chromebook daily at school. We will spend time at the beginning of next school year going over the expectations. This is very exciting for Beaverton Students and Schools! Therefore, we will have a new cell phone policy at school. In short, cell phones will not be allowed out in classrooms.

3. LEO CLUB: Students in grades 9th-12th grade next school year that are interested in joining LEO Club, should sign up on the Leo Club Sign Up sheet in the main office by this Friday. LEO Club is affiliated with the Beaverton Lions Club. Students that are interested in volunteering and giving back to our community should sign up immediately. When you graduate as a senior, you earn a special Leo Club cord and will make great connections with community members and organizations. This will look great in your portfolio and resume!

Graduation Commencement Time Change! Seniors, as you know, the weather for this evening is calling for rain. In an effort to do everything we can to have our commencement ceremony tonight, we are going to move the start time up 1hr to 6pm. Again. Start time for tonight's graduation has changed to 6pm rather than 7pm. Please report to the gym by 5:15pm. Not knowing what the weather will be a week from now, this will give us a better chance to get it in. Please notify all of your guests of the change. If it is only a light rain, we will still hold graduation. Dress appropriately for the weather. Don’t forget graduation will be broadcast live on the BJSHS facebook page. available for 2 students this summer. They are looking to fill 2 part time positions one morning
and one after noon shift 8am-12pm and 12pm-4pm Monday-Friday. Job description and

This event is for Seniors and Juniors and their dates.
