Good morning Beaverton, At this time, we are canceling our after SPARKS programming for tonight. The rain this afternoon will cause our back roads to become extremely slippery. We want to safely transport students home at the release time. Practices and games are still allowed for this evening! Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please travel safely! #GoBeavers

Monday, February 7, 2022 To all Parents/Guardians, This post is to inform you about a lockdown training that we had this morning. Our schools are committed to the safety and education of all of our students. We also want to clearly communicate with parents about safety issues when they arise. Today’s lockdown was just a drill. This was a collaborative effort between the schools, the Beaverton & Gladwin City Police Department and Gladwin County Police Department. Sometimes, secure mode and/or lockdown situations can cause fear. Please discuss this situation with your children and let us know if any follow-up is needed. Thank you for your understanding. Please feel free to call either building if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Joseph Passalacqua Superintendent

With the increasing rise in COVID-19 and flu cases, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued a face mask recommendation. We have seen increases in case counts, percent positivity and hospitalizations. Effective immediately, Beaverton Schools will require everyone to wear a face mask at indoor gatherings regardless of their vaccination status. This face mask order will remain effect until at least Friday, January 21, 2022. Please be sure that your child has a face mask for school tomorrow. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
