October is National Principals Month.
Through visionary leadership and tireless pursuit of success for each student, principals guide and support their schools in ways large and small every day.

Good afternoon. This is Renee Inscho, Elementary Principal with Beaverton Schools. I'm calling tonight with important information pertaining to our Virtual Students in grades 4th through 8th and their Interim Assessments. It is a state requirement to assess all students. This assessment will begin the week of October 5. All information needed for testing will be sent our via email from Mrs. Hargrove and Mrs. Inscho. Please be checking your student email regularly. If you have any further questions please contact the main office.

We love our community neighbors! A special THANK YOU to our local Home Depot out of Midland. They have generously donated PPE equipment, art supplies, and Kids Workshop kits. We are very appreciative of the support we continue to receive!

To all Parents/Guardians,
Lockdown training
This message is to inform you about a safety lockdown that we had this afternoon. Our schools are committed to the safety and education of all our students. We also want to clearly communicate with parents about safety issues when they arise.
Today’s lockdown was just a drill.
Lockdown procedures were followed and the police were involved.
This was a collaborative effort between the schools, the Beaverton City Police Department and Gladwin County Police Department.
Sometimes, secure mode and/or lockdown situations can frighten students. Please discuss this situation with your children and let us know if follow-up is needed at school.
Thank you for your understanding.
Please feel free to call either building if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you.

Something to ponder!

The parade was awesome! Their is a video posted on our FB page of the parade.
We were blessed with a guest appearance from Miss Beaverton.
Lastly, the Beavers were victorious over the G's last night. It was a great evening.

Have a wonderful Patriot Day!

Please be reminded of our Supply Drive tomorrow evening.
Please help spread the word.
Each donation entitles that person to a free meal.
Due to the Executive Orders, we have restrictions on spectators for the Volleyball event. Each participant is only allowed 2 spectators and the events are not open to the general public. Sorry for any inconvenience.
However, we are still able to have the drop off site for supplies right under the Circus tent by the parking lot of the athletic complex.

Bus drop off times for tonight, September 9, 2020, may vary due to an unexpected transportation issue. Parents please be aware that students may arrive earlier or later than expected. This will specifically impact that leaf, kite, football, gingerbread, and ice cream bus. We are working on resolving this issue and appreciate your patience and understanding for tonight. Thank you.

Soak it up!
