Good news!

Good afternoon Beaverton community,
We have some great resources coming together to get much needed resources to the community with the help of many partners: Dow Chemical, United Way, Gladwin County Community Foundation and the list goes on. THANK YOU!
Finally as it pertains to meal and packet deliveries for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26. Normal drop off times are from Noon to 2pm. Unfortunately, these are not normal times.
Academic packets are not going to be stressed but offered as a welcomed distraction during all of the chaos.
Deliveries...
All deliveries WEST of M-30 should be in there normal time frame.
Deliveries closer to the DNR launch on Dundas and Strykers Marina will be 15-30 minutes earlier.
Deliveries in the Rhodes area, Jones Rd, Whitney Beach area will be 30-60 minutes later.
Deliveries in the Highwood and Hay roads area will be 20-30 minutes later.
The drivers will beep their horn when they get to the stop so families will be aware we are there.
Thank you for coming together to support one another during these difficult times.

Beaverton Schools is holding a Community Forum ZOOM meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2020@ 3:30pm.
So much has changed since Gov. Whitmer released her proposed budget for 2020-2021 in February.
There have been so many significant changes over the past months and the reality is, the budget we will adopt this year will be vastly different from the one we had planned to adopt pre-pandemic.
During this meeting, we will address the current landscape of education. All information will be fluid at this point and subject to change after the May 15th Revenue Consensus.
Public comment will be taken in to advisement. Stakeholders that join the meeting may pose questions in the chat for our administration team to take in to consideration as we are adjusting and finalizing next year's budget.
